Ecological lifestyle library display.
League of Women Voters' members, Mike Brady and Pam Brady set up a library display case on "Precycling..deciding what you are going to do with the packaging before you buy the product". Simple changes, shown in the display, can make it possible for you to recycle much more and throw away much less, thereby saving natural resources.

Sustainable Residential Landscapes.
The LWV TA Natural Resources chair cordially invites you to join her in this informative workshop to get tips to help grean your landscape in an environmental way. It is free and open to the public. Tours of the AloeTerra House (an off the grid structure built by Lawrence Tech University Students and purchased by the Troy Chamber of Commerce to be housed on Troy Property and designed to be a teaching tool) on the grounds of the Troy Civic Center will be offering tours at 5:45pm and 8pm. Dinner meeting to kick off the new season for the League. Guests and prospective members and interested parties are welcome.
